"Hard to believe" – Sky pundit "surprised" by transfer news out of Chelsea

Sky Sports pundit Terry Gibson has shared his verdict on some transfer news out of Chelsea, which he's described as "hard to believe".

Chelsea make nine summer signings in busy transfer window

Despite already sealing deals for Tosin Adarabioyo (Fulham), Omari Kellyman (Aston Villa), Renato Veiga (FC Basel), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Leicester City), Filip Jorgensen (Villarreal), Marc Guiu (Barcelona), Estevao Willian (Palmeiras), Caleb Wiley (Atlanta United) and Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors), the Blues appear set to take their tally of new arrivals into double figures.

Chelsea are in ongoing talks to sign goalkeeper Mike Penders from Genk, and it is believed Enzo Maresca is closing in on a move for Gremio wonderkid Gabriel Mec as well, who would be the second Brazilian gem to join in the last few weeks after Estevao.

If these deals get over the line, it will take Todd Boehly and BlueCo up to 11 new arrivals, but a concern for Chelsea supporters will be that the vast majority of these fresh recruits look like ones for the future – rather than senior upgrades to Maresca's first team.

Indeed, only Tosin, Jorgensen and Dewsbury-Hall appear likely to be featuring regularly in the Premier League next season, despite Chelsea's spending now over the £120 million mark.

Some good news for Maresca, though, is that Chelsea now appear set to add another senior signing. According to reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano and other esteemed media sources, Chelsea have now sealed a £35 million deal for Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion, after selling Conor Gallagher to the La Liga side for around £38 million.

Omorodion has been praised for his potential by certain sectors of the press, but the numbers suggest he is unlikely to be a serial goal-getter for Maresca. The 20-year-old, who will represent Spain in the Olympic gold medal final against France tomorrow, scored just nine goals in 36 appearances in all competitions on loan at Deportivo last term.

Terry Gibson "incredibly surprised" by Chelsea signing Omorodion

Given Chelsea are also attempting to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, which would see Romelu Lukaku head the other way in a transfer domino, some critics have questioned the club's £35 million capture of Omorodion.

La Liga expert Terry Gibson, speaking to Sky Sports News this week, said Chelsea's signing of Omorodion is surprising and hard to believe, considering just how unproven he is.

"I'm incredibly surprised by this to be honest," said Gibson. "I find it incredible that Chelsea have lumped in straight away, Atletico Madrid paid six million euros for him on the first day of last season, and they're going to sell him for over 30.

"It's a tough one to be honest to call, I don't want to be too critical of a young player, but the increase in his valuation on the back of eight league goals for Alaves where he lost his place at the end of the season is hard to believe."

Leeds selling "monster" ace would be a bigger blow than losing Summerville

Leeds United may have known that their failure to secure promotion back to the Premier League would leave them at risk of losing some of their best players.

The Whites were beaten 1-0 by Southampton at Wembley in the play-off final in May and are now preparing for a second season in the Championship.

Daniel Farke has already had to watch on as one of his star men completed a move away from Elland Road, with Archie Gray having signed for Tottenham Hotspur in a £40m deal.

Joe Rodon signed on a permanent deal for £10m, after spending last term on loan at the club, but they still lost one of their regular starters at right-back.

Leeds forwards likely to move on

According to Football Insider, three Leeds players could be set to follow Gray out of the door at Elland Road before the summer transfer window slams shut.

The report claims that the Whites are 'expected' to lose three of their stars, with Wilfried Gnonto, Georginio Rutter, and Crysencio Summerville said to be 'likely' to be sold.

It adds that the club could accept 'big offers' for all three of them and that money would be reinvested back into the squad if any of them depart.

This comes after Football Insider recently reported that Brighton & Hove Albion are preparing a second bid for Rutter, after their initial £30m offer was turned down by Leeds.

Losing the French "monster", as he was described by Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie, would be an even bigger blow than the departure of Summerville.

Why losing Georginio Rutter would be a bigger blow

Leeds selling Rutter to Brighton, or any other interested party, would be more harmful to Farke's side than losing the Dutchman would be to how central he is to the way the German wants to set the team up.

The 22-year-old magician is, essentially, the heartbeat of the attack and everything flows through him, due to his fantastic ability to link up play and create chances for his teammates.

Summerville was able to thrive, with 19 goals and nine assists in the league, because of Rutter's ability to consistently feed him the ball in dangerous areas.

As you can see in the table above, the former Bundesliga ace provided more than the Dutch sensation in build-up play, with more passes into the final third, more progressive passes, more assists, and more take-ons.

Meanwhile, Summerville received far more progressive passes and this illustrates the point that Rutter was the one progressing play forward to allow the winger, and the other attackers in the side, plenty of chances to showcase their quality.

Therefore, the 22-year-old Dutchman may not be able to influence matches and provide as many goals and assists as he did last term without the help of the 6 foot magician, who orchestrated the attack.

Leeds could ease Gray blow by signing a star who "loves a scrap"

This is why selling Rutter, who created 22 'big chances' and registered 15 assists in the Championship, would be an even bigger blow than an exit for Summerville, as his departure would have an impact on the rest of the team, rather than one specific position.

'This thing really pisses me off' – Antonio Conte FUMES at VAR as Napoli boss suggests 'ulterior motives' after controversial penalty award in draw with Inter

Serie A leaders held at San SiroCalhanoglu hit the post with a penaltyNapoli boss launched into epic rantFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?

The former Chelsea and Juventus boss was left incensed at the match officials – both on the field and watching on from afar – after seeing his side held to a 1-1 draw away at reigning Serie A champions Inter. Scott McTominay opened the scoring in that contest from close range, before Hakan Calhanoglu equalised with an absolute screamer.

Inter’s Turkey international midfielder was given an opportunity to snatch a winner for the hosts, but fired a tame penalty against the post. The awarding of that spot-kick left Conte fuming, with there seemingly minimal contact between Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa and Denzel Dumfries – but the decision could not be overturned as there was no clear and obvious error.

WHAT CONTE SAID

Conte told afterwards, in a post-match discussion dominated by debate regarding the use of technology in modern football: "What does it mean that the VAR cannot intervene? It only intervenes when it is convenient. If there is an error it must intervene. These incidents change matches.

"This thing really pisses me off, as it does all coaches. The VAR must correct the referees' errors or intervene if something was not seen. We are in a situation where we start to think again that there are ulterior motives on everyone's part. The referee in these cases must go and see, then at most confirm the decision."

Controversial VAR decisions continue to make headlines across Europe and around the world. Questions are being asked of why officiating teams are still getting big calls wrong when working with so many tools that are supposed to assist them.

The draw at San Siro means Napoli remain top of Serie A going into the international break, but there is a queue of four teams beneath them who are just one point behind, including Inter in fourth.

Rangers could finally axe Dessers by signing ÂŁ5m Scotland international

Glasgow Rangers manager Philippe Clement may have already signed seven players this summer, but the reality is, a few members of the Ibrox first team will have to be sold in order to fund more arrivals.

Speaking ahead of last weekend's friendly, Clement discussed how his philosophy has changed since taking over at Rangers last year, saying: “If I only looked at the short term I would only bring in experienced players who can do the job directly.

“Mistakes like that have been made too much in the past and at the end you don’t reach your goals. You need a different philosophy and that’s what we are all working towards. This is a massive rebuilding job, it is true.”

With this in mind, should he cash in on one of Michael Beale’s 2023 summer signings in the next few weeks?

The latest on Cyriel Dessers' future

According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Rangers are considering selling Cyriel Dessers this summer, with some interest being shown in the Nigerian centre-forward.

Indeed, Greek side PAOK were heavily linked with a move for the player a few weeks ago, while clubs in France and Spain were also said to have registered some interest in luring the 29-year-old away from Ibrox this summer.

Cyriel Dessers

The Rangers Review stated that Clement will be looking to recoup around £4.5m should Dessers leave, which is around the fee they paid to sign him from Cremonese last summer.

Speaking to Ziggo Sport Voetbal (via the Scottish Sun), Dessers outlined his desire to stay, however, saying: "I am very happy here, so I would like to stay. "There is some interest, but my intention is to stay and then we will see what happens."

Given he is approaching 30, the forward is a prime candidate to be sold by Clement and there is no shortage of players he could target in order to replace the former Feyenoord hitman…

Dessers' potential replacement at Rangers

Last month, the Daily Record reported that Rangers were showing interest in Bristol City striker Tommy Conway and could make an offer for the player should he run down the final 12 months of his contract.

Tommy Conway for Bristol City.

Despite City’s attempts at securing him on a new deal, it looks as though he will be leaving the club sooner rather than later, with pundit Tom Sandy believing that the Championship side should be looking at offers of around £5m in order for any club to prise him away this summer.

Recently, former Rangers captain Barry Ferguson has endorsed a move for the youngster, saying: “Aye he’s a good player isn’t he the boy? He’s 21, I don’t know exactly what the fee would be, but he ticks all the boxes in terms of what Rangers [are looking for], how their recruitment is going. Bring them in, younger guys, make them better, then can we sell them on?

“Listen, he’s a talented boy in the Scotland Under-21s and you don’t make the Euros if you’re not a good player so what you can see is there’s a lot to work with there and a lot to improve. I think under our current manager he would do that.”

The youngster may not have made an appearance for Scotland in Germany during Euro 2024, but he did enjoy a stellar campaign in the second tier last term.

Tommy Conway’s season in numbers for Bristol City

In 43 matches last term, Conway scored 12 goals and grabbed one assist, with his performances in the FA Cup enough to get tongues wagging about his talents.

Indeed, not only did he score in a 1-1 draw against West Ham United in the third round, but he managed to net the winner against the Premier League outfit a week later, seeing Bristol City through to the next round.

Among his teammates at City, Conway ranked first for goals and assists (11) in the Championship, while also ranking first for shots on target per game (0.7) and second for penalties won (1) throughout the campaign.

Rangers desperately require some added reinforcements to their attacking department and Conway could be an ideal signing, especially with plenty of opportunities for development.

What Tommy Conway could offer Rangers

Hailed as a “gifted boy” by Steve Evans, Conway could thrive in the physical nature of Scottish football.

The striker won 1.3 ground duels in the Championship last term – a success rate of 45% – but there is no doubt that this could improve as he gets older.

Tommy Conway celebrates for Bristol City.

Dessers may have scored 22 goals for the Light Blues, but he missed a staggering 27 big chances in the Premiership alone.

While Conway may not have scored as much as the Nigerian, he was more clinical in front of goal, missing just ten big chances while recording a 19% goal conversion rate, better than the 16% Dessers achieved last term.

Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers.

Given the fact Conway is eight years younger than the current Light Blues forward, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that he could be a long-term solution for Clement.

Exposure to European football will also accelerate his development, something which could see his transfer value skyrocket in the future.

While a move this summer depends on how much funds the Belgian tactician can raise, perhaps it would be more logical to wait six months and target him on a free transfer ahead of the 2025/26 season, or even submit a low bid to test City’s resolve in January.

Whatever happens, a talent like Conway shouldn’t be allowed to slip through the net. Aside from being young and showing prodigious talent, he is Scottish, which will allow Clement to bolster his homegrown contentment even further.

The move is a no-brainer, but it will likely depend on various other factors going the club’s way in order for it to become a reality.

Leeds must bin Elland Road dud who earns 2x more than Summerville

Leeds United know, as well as having to deal with outgoings involving their stars this summer, that the off-season also presents a great opportunity to get rid of some deadwood still lurking in the camp.

Jack Harrison looks to be nearing to a loan move back to Everton for a second successive year to the relief of everyone at Elland Road, whilst Daniel Farke and Co now turn their attention to the future of Maximilian Wober in Leeds white.

max-wober-leeds-united-academy-transfer-loan-james-debayo-farke

Only featuring for Leeds briefly during their relegation campaign down from the Premier League, having only been bruised by the experience slightly by joining mid-way through the season, Wober will still be one the Championship side will look to offload soon.

That could prove to be a tricky sale, however, when taking into account his recent horror-show performance against France in the ongoing Euros tournament.

What the future hold for Wober future at Leeds

Roy Keane, speaking on ITV at half-time of Austria's eventual 1-0 defeat to Didier Deschamps' outfit, was less than impressed with Wober's own-goal rippling the back of his nation's net, labelling it as 'really poor' defending, with his stock falling as a direct consequence of this bad slice of luck.

Wober was equally shaky at points during his brief spell at Leeds, only tallying up two clean sheets from the 16 appearances he managed for the West Yorkshire side, before moving on to Borussia Mönchengladbach on loan in the wake of relegation.

Wober had shone playing out in the Bundesliga last season, away from battling it out for Farke's men back in England, with two goals and three assists mustered up, but Leeds' reported asking price of £12.5m to try and make this deal a permanent one has become a stumbling block for the German side.

Leeds could do with some additional defensive reinforcements next season with Joe Rodon no longer present, meaning Wober coming back and fighting for his spot again could be handy, but his previous hefty wage for Leeds will also be a concern, with the Austrian dud earning two times more than Crysencio Summerville when playing in the Premier League.

Leeds United defender Max Wober.

Wober's wage at Leeds

As per Capology, Wober was earning a handsome £35k-per-week in the top-flight for Leeds during 2022/23, whilst Summerville, before his immense Championship campaign, was pocketing far less at £15k-per-week.

Wober's weekly salary during the relegation season would still see him earn more than the electric Dutchman in the here and now, who remains on a meagre £15k-per-week salary, despite the Championship Player of the Year winner amassing a ridiculous 31 goal contributions, only for his side to fall at the final hurdle in the play-off final.

4. Daniel James

£50k-per-week

= 4. Pascal Struijk

5. Maximilian Wober (22/23)

£35k-per-week

As Summerville now eyes a move back up to the Premier League without Leeds, Wober could be staring the end of his own career at Elland Road in the face, on the contrary, with the Austrian defender only £15k-per-week off entering into the top five earners in Farke's camp, despite being pushed to one side on loan.

Harrison, who is nearing a return to Goodison Park, ended up earning an eye-watering £90k-per-week when he was still an important cog in West Yorkshire, with Leeds wanting to get him off their books permanently down the line.

Whilst Harrison moves away, Leeds could be stuck with Wober if they can't find a suitor willing to take him on, with the Austria international going down as a major flop in the transfer market for the Whites, when purchased for a bumper £11m just last year.

Rahul Tewatia and Sanju Samson pull off record chase in stunning Rajasthan Royals win

As it unfolded, it felt like a chase that defied logic in every way possible. But by the time the Rajasthan Royals were done mowing down a target of 224 – an IPL record – the scorecard reflected one bit of cold, hard T20 logic: the team that hits more sixes usually wins. Kings XI Punjab hit 11 sixes – seven coming off the bat of Mayank Agarwal, who made a scintillating 106 off 50 balls – and the Royals hit 18.Sanju Samson hit seven of those sixes while scoring a second successive half-century for the first time in his IPL career. His 42-ball 85 was more reward for the intense training he did during cricket’s Covid-19 hiatus, which enabled him to take his natural ball-striking ability and turn it into an instrument of almost scientific precision.Samson put on 81 for the second wicket with Steven Smith in just 40 balls, putting the Royals well in touch with their asking rate. They then promoted Rahul Tewatia – their only left-hander – to No. 4, and the move was beginning to look like one of the most ill-judged tactical interventions in IPL history when he struggled to hit the ball off the square and crawled to 8 off 19 balls. But the six-hitting ability that he possesses came into view just when the Royals seemed out of it. Tewatia smacked Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in a match-turning, match-defining 18th over, and an improbable 51 off 18 balls turned into a far more straightforward 21 off 12.Rahul Tewatia slams one down the ground•BCCI

A partnership of two temposSent in to bat – Smith, the Royals captain, expected dew to play an influential role through the second innings, and it did – Kings XI got off to a flier, their openers rushing to 60 in the powerplay. From there, Agarwal and KL Rahul extended their partnership to 183 – the third highest for the first wicket and the eighth highest overall in the IPL.The two batsmen approached their innings differently. At one end, Agarwal went for his shots at every opportunity, and also looked to create opportunities to play his shots. He moved around his crease – to manufacture room to hit Ankit Rajpoot over mid-off, for instance, or to manufacture length to shovel the quickish legspin of Tewatia over midwicket – and in general went through with his shots with a degree of abandon; some of the sixes he hit weren’t off the cleanest connections, but a batsman can gamble on a small ground like Sharjah.Even so, Agarwal’s sparkling form allowed him to achieve a control percentage of 80 – which is pretty high for an innings achieving a strike rate of 212.00. At the other end, Rahul faced 54 balls – four more than Agarwal – and pulled off a control percentage of 85, but only struck at 127.77. Aside from a hat-trick of fours against Jofra Archer in the fourth over, he seemed to almost consciously play second fiddle to Agarwal, giving him the strike whenever possible. It’s a common tactic in partnerships like this, and Rahul has the game to up his tempo dramatically later on – his unbeaten 132 against Royal Challengers Bangalore followed the same template.Mayank Agarwal goes over the top•Getty Images

Maxwell, Pooran apply the finishOn this day, however, both Rahul and Agarwal seemed to tire as their partnership progressed, and from 172 for no loss at the 15-over mark, Kings XI scored 22 off the next 18 balls – a period in which they lost both openers.Only 21 balls remained in the innings when Glenn Maxwell walked in, and only 12 when Nicholas Pooran came to the crease. It can be difficult to come in at that sort of time and find the boundary immediately, but both managed it to varying degrees of success. Rajpoot and Tom Curran managed to tie Maxwell down to an extent, but he created a couple of boundaries with his movement around the crease. Pooran, however, got a few balls in his slot and dispatched all of them ruthlessly – he hit three sixes and a four in just eight balls, three of those boundaries coming in an 18-run final over from Jofra Archer.Smith and Samson keep Royals in the huntThis would be a record chase if the Royals could pull it off, but the pitch was still just as flat – and the outfield just as small – as it had been during Kings XI’s innings. Steven Smith gave them the early momentum they needed with three fours in the first two overs, all the result of a still head and trust in some of the best hands and wrists in the business.Samson, who arrived after the early departure of Jos Buttler, got stuck in straightaway, swatting the first legal delivery he faced – a short-of-length ball from Cottrell – over long-on for six. He continued in much the same manner, with his set-up at the crease – emphasizing a strong base and the stillest of heads – and the pick-up of his bat designed with six-hitting in mind, first and foremost. With Smith using his reach and powerful wrists to stunning effect, the Royals motored to 69 for 1 in the powerplay. Thirty-one more runs came off the next 17 balls, before Smith skewed James Neesham’s legcutter into the off-side sweeper’s hands. A similar line from Neesham had brought Smith three fours in the sixth over, but the bowler came out on top with the extra protection in the deep.Sanju Samson rolls out a reverse sweep•BCCI

Tewatia, part 1At that point, the Royals needed 124 off 11 overs. There were sound reasons for them to promote Tewatia: he was the only left-hander in their line-up, he had shown flashes of six-hitting ability in the past – and more than flashes in the team’s recent training sessions – and there were two legspinners in the Kings XI attack to target. That was the theory. But Kings XI brought on their sixth bowler – the offspinner Glenn Maxwell – as soon as Tewatia came in, and when they did bowl a legspinner at him, it was the confounding figure of Ravi Bishnoi, who slants the ball across left-handers from wide of the crease, and then predominantly bowls wrong’uns turning away from their hitting arc.Tewatia struggled to come to terms with either of them, or the pace changes of Neesham. His first 19 balls brought him eight runs. And in all that time, Samson only faced 15 balls. When Bishnoi ran up for the fifth ball of the 15th over, the Royals needed 90 off 32 balls.Tewatia, part 2Smith later revealed Samson told Tewatia to jump out of his crease to Bishnoi, slog, and see what happened. He did that and miscued a six down the ground. Then Samson pounced on a crucial 16th over, hitting Maxwell for three effortless sixes to keep the Royals just about in touch with their required rate.A slower bouncer from Shami ended Samson’s innings in the 17th over, but a brace of fours from Robin Uthappa ensured the Royals were still in it, somewhere within the outer limits of probability. Then, finally, Tewatia got to face someone he’s ideally set up to hit: a left-arm quick angling the ball into his hitting arc. As if to show just how specialised T20 hitting can be, Tewatia turned into the Tewatia the Royals had seen in the nets. Cottrell kept giving him the angle he needed, from left-arm over, and the length – and even the line – didn’t seem to matter to Tewatia. When Cottrell went short, he stepped inside the line and pulled him for six. Back of a length, muscled over long-on. Full, over long-off. Length, wide of off, slogged over midwicket.Archer finishes it offThat still left the Royals needing 21 off 12. It became 21 off 11 when Uthappa holed out to long-off. But they had more six-hitting left in the tank. Archer had smashed an unbeaten 27 off eight balls against the Super Kings, and he picked up from where he left off, hitting the first two balls he faced, from Shami, for sixes over midwicket and down the ground. All that was left was for Tewatia to complete his redemptive arc with a flat six over point to move past 50, and for a small measure of late drama – Tewatia and Riyan Parag falling in the space of three balls to leave the Royals needing two off four balls. Tom Curran’s experience sealed the deal off the legspin of M Ashwin, an assured loft over extra-cover ending a quite remarkable contest with three balls to spare.ALSO SEE: Kings XI Punjab v Rajasthan Royals live score, September 27 2020

The ICC has postponed the Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2021 and the Under-19 World Cup Qualifier 2022 Europe Division 2 in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, saying in a media statement on Tuesday that “consultation with Members and with the relevant government and public health authorities” had helped them make the decision.Sri Lanka were scheduled to host the women’s qualifier from July 3 to July 19, the ten-team tournament from which three would have progressed to the main event in New Zealand next year. The Under-19 event was set to begin with the European Regional Qualifier in Denmark from July 24 to July 30.ALSO READ: India qualify for 2021 Women’s World Cup after ICC splits points from unplayed Pakistan seriesICC head of events Chris Tetley said that the body would work with the participating members to identify future dates for both tournaments. “These are both important events with the Women’s CWC Qualifier one step away from New Zealand 2021 and the Europe qualifier which signifies the start of the U-19 Cricket World Cup 2022 pathway,” Tetley said. “We will work in partnership with the Members to find an appropriate window to reschedule these events as soon as is safe and practical to do so.”Ed Joyce, Ireland Women’s head coach, said special preparation would be needed to be tournament-ready post the Covid-19 lockdown. “We had a lead-in programme in place for the Qualifier before the pandemic hit, but – like everyone else – we’ve had to adapt quickly to lockdown conditions,” he said. “We have continued fitness programmes and held numerous team learning sessions via video-conferencing over the last two months, but despite the opportunities that these sessions offer, there is no substitute to getting out and playing.”The fixture schedule ahead is certainly going to be a busy one for all cricket nations given the postponements, and we’ll need to develop a preparation programme in the lead up to the tournament, so we hope the ICC can give ample notification of the new dates.”Meanwhile, the ICC is also keeping tabs on the two remaining Under-19 World Cup Regional Qualifier Division 2 tournaments: the Africa event is due to take place in Tanzania from July 7 to August 14 and the Asia event from December 1 to December 9 in Thailand. The Division 1 events in all five regions are scheduled to take place in 2021.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Luis Suarez announced his retirement from the Uruguay national team Monday, wrapping up an illustrious international career that has seen 142 caps and 69 goals – the most in history.

The striker, who also stars for Inter Miami in MLS, will play his final match in Uruguay's World Cup qualifier against Paraguay Friday at Estadio Centenario, the team's primary home stadium.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Suarez is among the best players Uruguay has produced, and has delivered in countless moments for the South American team.

Suarez made his national team debut on Feb. 8, 2007, a 3-1 win over rivals Colombia. He rose to prominence during the 2010 World Cup as he started the majority of Uruguay's matches.

Similar to his legendary club career, Suarez has been no stranger to controversy. The forward had an infamous handball to block a goal that would earn Ghana a penalty. Asamoah Gyan missed the spot kick and Uruguay would advance after a shootout.

Arguably his best year as a national team player might been 2011, a season in which he led the team to Copa America glory and was named Player of the Tournament after scoring four goals.

  • WHAT SUAREZ SAID

“I’ve been thinking about this and analyzing this. I believe this is the right time,” Suarez said on Monday, according to the Athletic. “I want to be relaxed when I play my last game with the national team. I’ll be just as excited to play as I was in 2007 when I played for my national team for the first time. That 19-year old kid is now a veteran player, an older player – however you want to call it – with an incredible history with the national team will give his life for the team on Friday.”
