Corne Dry’s third five-wicket haul in first-class cricket helped set up a comprehensive 10-wicket win for Knights against Lions in Kimberley, after a century from Rilee Rossouw had helped the team to 262 in the first innings.Lions, electing to bat, were shaky right from the start and lost wickets at regular intervals. Temba Bavuma briefly stopped the slide, scoring 96 and putting up half-century stands with Brett Pelser and Zander de Bruyn, but seven of their batsmen fell for single-digit scores. Johan van der Wath and Quinton Friend notched three scalps apiece to bowl Lions out for 204 in 78.4 overs. In reply, Rossouw struck 20 fours during his 111 – his 15th first-class ton- and added 71 with Rudi Second for the third wicket as Knights secured a first-innings lead of 58.Lions would’ve hoped to set a competitive total, but their second stint with the bat lasted less than 31 overs. Only two batsmen, Stephen Cook and Neil McKenzie, made double-digit scores, as Dry finished with 5 for 27 to skittle them out for 72, leaving Knights only 15 to score for victory.Knights’ openers Reeza Hendricks and Dean Elgar achieved that score inside three overs, to seal the big win.

Fico feliz, estou aqui há quase três meses, agora com mais gana para conquistar outras coisas. Espero não acordar desse sonho tão feliz que estou vivendo – afirmou o volante, que contou como ficou sabendo que seria desfalque na decisão:

– Alimentei bastante tempo essa esperança de estar dentro de campo. Pelo menos até quinta ou sexta-feira eu estava acreditando que seria possível. Tive que fazer um procedimento no hospital que incluía o exame de imagem para poder ver o local da lesão. Ali eu vi que precisaria de mais alguns dias depois da final. Sabia que no momento da final teria que descansar o corpo mais um pouco para poder me recuperar. Fiquei triste com a notícia, óbvio, mas feliz porque minha lesão não foi grave, vou me recuperar rápido. Mais feliz ainda de poder estar torcendo pela minha equipe e a gente ser campeão. Estou muito feliz e realizado – disse.

Corintiano na infância, Urso pôde reviver sua época de torcedor na decisão do Paulistão. Ele contou como foi assistir ao jogo na parte de cima da Arena e disse que “ficou maluco” na comemoração do título.

– Foi incrível. Eu, pelo menos, só tinha enxergado a Arena de dentro do campo, com uma visão de baixo para cima. E quando eu fui lá em cima da arquibancada, ter aquela visão do campo inteiro e da torcida, foi incrível. Voltei a ser torcedor, mas de uma forma diferente. Não eram meus ídolos dentro de campo, eram meus amigos. Fiquei feliz do futebol que eles apresentaram, final é duro, foi do jeito que o corintiano gosta. Foi só alegria, tirei a camisa com a torcida, pulei, fiquei maluco – contou.

Júnior Urso ainda será desfalque no Corinthians para a partida contra a Chapecoense, nesta quarta-feira, às 21h30, na Arena, pela quarta fase da Copa do Brasil. A equipe precisa vencer por diferença superior a um gol para avançar. Se triunfar pela diferença mínima, a definição será nos pênaltis

رد محمود عبد الرازق شيكابالا قائد فريق الكرة الأول بنادي الزمالك، على انتقادات مرتضى منصور له، وأوضح تفاصيل تدخله لحل أزمة الحجز على أرصدة القلعة البيضاء، وغرامة فريقه السابق سبورتنج لشبونة البرتغالي.

وكان منصور قد أكد عبر فيديو مصور، أن شيكابالا قاد تمرد داخل الزمالك بسبب المستحقات وحرض اللاعبين للامتناع عن المشاركة في المران، موجهًا له اللوم بسبب عدم مساندة القلعة البيضاء في عدد من الملفات.

وقال شيكابالا في بيان نشره عبر حسابه الرسمي بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي “فيس بوك”: “جماهير نادي الزمالك العظيمة، أتحدث إليكم اليوم ليس فقط بصفتي قائدًا لفريق الكرة بالنادي وأحد أكثر من تشرف بحمل شارة قيادة القلعة البيضاء عبر التاريخ”.

وأضاف: “لكن أتحدث باعتباري واحدًا ممن تربوا داخل جدران هذا النادي العظيم، ولمدة أكثر من ربع قرن تشرفت بأن أدافع عن راية الزمالك.. ولذلك كان يجب الرد على بعض النقاط وهذا ليس كل شيء”.

وأردف: “رئيس النادي السابق يسألني.، لماذا لم أتدخل معه في رفع الحجز عن الزمالك؟!! وأنا هنا لن أُذيع سرًا فأنا قبل أن أكون قائدًا للنادي فأنا زملكاوي قلبًا وقالبًا، وأتشرف بأنني على علاقة جيدة بكل مسئولي النادي السابقين والحاليين، وبالفعل تحدثت مع السادة الأطراف أصحاب الحجز على النادي وتواصلت معهم لرفع الحجز وإنهاء الأزمة حفاظًا على النادي وعلى استقرار الفريق وباقي الألعاب الأخرى، والمفاجأة أن الرد جاء بأنه لا يوجد حجز على النادي والزمالك غير محجوز عليه لصالح أي جهة طُلب منا التواصل معها لحل الأزمة!”.

واستكمل: “بالنسبة لقضية سبورتنج لشبونة فالنادي اشتراني من صفوف سبورتنج لشبونة عام 2016 مقابل 650 ألف دولار وبالفعل تم سداد مبلغ 140 ألف دولار وتبقى 510 آلاف فقط كان يجب تسديدهم في مواعيدهم طبقًا للتعاقد وللعلم كان يتم خصم كل ذلك من مستحقاتي المالية لدى النادي، ولكن بسبب التقاعس في التسديد وغرامات التأخير أصبح المبلغ الإجمالي المطلوب من النادي أكبر بكثير”.

واستطرد: “وفي ذلك الوقت إذا كان تم سداد المبلغ في موعده وهو 510 آلاف دولار وبحساب سعر الدولار  وقتها 7 جنيهات و83 قرشًا ما يعادل 3 ملايين و900 ألف جنيه، الآن أصبح المطلوب مع التأخير والغرامات وزيادة سعر الدولار 46 مليونًا”.

وواصل: “وللعلم، وقفت كحائط للصد في كثير من الأمور لحل مشاكل تخص اللاعبين لم أعلن عنها،  كنت أسعى دائمًا لحل أكثر من مشكلة في الفريق حتى لا ينهار تمامًا طوال الموسم الماضي، وليس شيكابالا الذي يُتهم بالتقصير أو التمرد في حق نادي الزمالك بدافع المال!!! لأنني اخترت اللعب في الزمالك، وبسبب أخطاء إدارية من قبل لعبت بدون أموال”.

وأشار: “وعلاقتي مع الزمالك وجماهيره أكبر من الأمور المادية والكل يعلم ذلك، ونحن هنا لا نتحدث عن ظروف مادية فقط مر بها اللاعبون طوال موسم ولكن هناك ظروف أخرى أصعب لا يمكن الحديث عنها واللاعبون يطلبون مني الحديث نيابة عنهم ولذلك وبصفتي كان حديثي لتوضيح تلك الأزمات والمشاكل العديدة التي كانت سببًا مباشرًا في نتائج الفريق خلال موسم كامل”.

وأتم شيكابالا: “هذا رد على كل ما أثاره رئيس النادي السابق بخصوصي، أما ما يخص كل ما حدث  للفريق سيكون هناك رد بشكل واضح.. وللحديث باقية”.

IPL franchises will be allowed to retain up to five players ahead of the 2014 auction, and have the option of buying back additional members of their squads at the auction via “right to match” cards, according to the rules released on Tuesday. The auction will be on February 12, and carried into February 13 if required, at a venue yet to be decided.The right to match essentially gives a franchise the first right of refusal to its players, allowing it to buy its player back after other franchises have completed the bidding process for him. For example, if Mumbai Indians have already retained five players but want Player X, they merely have to wait till the bidding in the open auction for Player X is over and match the highest bid offered for him.The number of right to match cards available to each franchise will depend on the number of players already retained. A franchise retaining between three and five players will have one right to match card, while a franchise retaining up to two players will have two right to match cards; those not retaining any player will have three cards to play.In all, combining players retained before the auction and those for whom the right to match is exercised, a franchise cannot retain more than four capped India players.The salary cap for franchises is set at Rs 600 million (approx US$ 9.6 million at the current exchange rate) for 2014. All players, including uncapped Indians, will go into the auction. Indians will be paid in rupees starting from the 2014 season, while overseas players have the option of choosing the currency in which they are paid. Players will be paid an additional 10% of their IPL fee, if they play in the Champions League T20 for their franchise.

تحدث مدافع تشيلسي بن تشيلويل عقب تعادل فريقه أمام ليفربول، بهدف لمثله، في أولى مباريات الفريق بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز لموسم 2023-2024.

وأضاف: “لقد تدربنا على الكرات الثابتة في اليوم السابق للمباراة كما نفعل عادةً، وأخبرت ديساسي أنه سيسجل”.

وعن هدفه الملغي، أفاد: “لم أشاهده مرة أخرى ولكن لكي أكون عادلاً اعتقدت أنني كنت متسللاً، لذلك لم أكن أعرف ما الذي يحدث خلفي، كنت سعيدًا فقط بالتسجيل، حتى أنني لم أفكر في أن ذلك سيكون تسللاً، من الواضح أنني استفدت من الاحتفال وبعد ذلك لسوء الحظ كان التسلل”.

Northern Districts booked their spot in the final of the HRV Cup, where they will meet Otago, after beating Auckland in a day-night match at Seddon Park. A fifty by Daniel Harris, and a pair of 40s by Daryl Mitchell and Scott Styris powered Northern Districts to 200 before a combined performance by the bowlers contributed to a 40-run win.Northern Districts were given a good foundation thanks to 40-plus stands for the second and third wicket, both involving Harris. Harris made 56 off 38 balls before he was the fourth man out at 112 in the 14th over, bowled by James Fuller. It set the stage for an explosive stand of 70 in just 5.2 overs between Styris and Mitchell. Styris made 43 off 20 while Mitchell remained unbeaten on 42. Auckland got off to a poor start in their chase, losing two wickets in the first over. Craig Cachopa and Chris Nash added 68 for the third wicket but that was the only stand of note. Anton Devcich broke the stand by getting rid of Cachopa for 47 and from then on, Auckland struggled to put on partnerships. Devcich, Trent Boult and Ish Sodhi took three wickets apiece as the hosts registered their sixth win.

Wellington got off to a strong start after opting to bat, with the openers adding 47 in six overs. However, they lost three quick wickets before the tenth over. With the score on 55 for 3, James Franklin and Stephen Murdoch led the recovery with a stand of 46. Franklin top-scored with 43 off 26 balls with two fours and four sixes. Wellington finished on 154 for 6, which they later found out was hardly enough to challenge the hosts.Canterbury lost Rob Nicol early in the chase, but Brownlie and Worker added 119 in ten overs to ensure a quick finish. Brownlie’s 86 came off just 36 balls, including 11 fours and five sixes, before he was bowled by Dane Hutchinson. Worker remained unbeaten on 53 as Canterbury registered their third win, with 33 balls to spare.
