Enquanto Fagner serve à Seleção Brasileira, Michel Macedo aumenta sua confiança no Corinthians. O lateral-direito de 29 anos pode fazer seu quarto jogo em sequência nesta quarta-feira, contra a Ferroviária, pelas quartas de final do Paulistão, e atingir uma marca inédita no clube e rara na carreira.

Macedo foi titular contra Oeste, Ituano e na primeira partida do mata-mata estadual. Para ganhar a sequência, aproveitou não só a convocação do titular, mas chance dada pela suspensão de Fagner por acúmulo de cartões.

Fato é que tem sido bem avaliado pela comissão técnica e, aos poucos, convencido boa parte da torcida sobre ser um substituto à altura de Fagner, praticamente unanimidade no clube e titular há anos.

Acostumado ao calendário europeu, Michel Macedo não tem recebido tratamento especial em comparação aos demais companheiros, mas, mesmo assim, tem focado bastante na recuperação após os jogos para não deixar a parte física atrapalhar a boa sequência.

– Na Espanha, não tinha uma sequência dessa, os jogos normalmente são de fim de semana. Mas tenho sido bem acompanhado, fisioterapeuta, nutricionista. Não tenho feito nada de diferente, não, é mais massagem, recuperação pós-jogo que o clube faz para todos – havia dito o jogador, antes do jogo de ida das quartas, contra a Ferroviária.

Fagner está com a Seleção Brasileira, que entra em campo nesta terça-feira, às 16h45, em Praga, para enfrentar a República Tcheca. A tendência é que o lateral do Corinthians seja reserva no amistoso do Brasil.

Mesmo assim, o tempo de viagem de volta a São Paulo praticamente inviabiliza sua participação no jogo desta quarta-feira, na Arena, às 21h30. A participação é vista como “muito difícil”.

وتابع: “لكن لا بأس، إنها الأيام الأولى، لكنك تدرك بعد ذلك أن الأمور لا ينبغي أن تسير هكذا، ويمكنك أن ترى في الشوط الثاني ما الذي يمكن أن يفعله كودي جاكبو، ديوجو جوتا، مع اللاعبين الشباب، ما يمكنهما فعله ومركز جيمس مع تسيميكاس بصراحة أنا سعيد فالفتى لم يلعب هذا المركز من قبل”.

وأردف: “لذا فزنا بالمباراة 4-2 لكن يمكنك أن تخسرها بالطبع، لقد كانوا جيدين، منظمين بشكل جيد، لكنهم سجلوا، الأولاد لديهم غدًا أول يوم إجازة منذ أن بدأنا التدريبات، لذلك دعونا نستغل ذلك للتعافي ثم نعود مرة أخرى”.

وعن تجربة أشياء جديدة في مثل هذه المباريات، أفاد: “هذه ليست مباراة تحدد الموسم، نحن نعلم ذلك، لكننا نجحنا في ذلك، وبقدر ما أعرف لا أحد لديه أي مشاكل”.

وعن المهاجمين الذين يسجلون الأهداف، أشار: “عليك أن تسألهم، لكنني متأكد من أنهم سعداء جدًا بذلك؛ أنا سعيد جدًا بذلك، لذا فهذا جيد”.

وأتم كلوب: “كان بإمكاننا تسجيل الأهداف في الشوط الأول بالفعل، كل شيء على ما يرام، نحتاج أن نواجه مشاكل في الموسم التحضيري، لقد واجهناها وتغلبنا عليها اليوم ومن الجيد أنه لم يتعرض أحد للإصابة”.

– Cheguei a bater no Palmeiras 66 kg, e cheguei com 67 kg. Mas ganhei 10 kg e diminuí o percentual de gordura. É sensacional. Graças à alimentação e treinos de força, que aprendi antes de vir para o Palmeiras com o personal trainer que contratei em Campinas. Meu corpo se adaptou muito rápido a essa mudança de treinamentos, o que tem me ajudado bastante. Espero evoluir mais. Quanto mais eu cuidar do meu corpo, mais vou jogar.

O trabalho físico cresceu antes mesmo de acertar com o Palmeiras, em janeiro do ano passado. Os exercícios com o personal trainer fizeram diferença rapidamente já no segundo semestre, quando ficaram resolvidas as pendências jurídicas da rescisão com o Fluminense – somente uma rara lesão no pé direito atrapalhou sua sequência entre agosto e outubro.

– Naquele período afastado por causa dos problemas com o Fluminense, fiquei três meses e meio parado e treinei bastante força na academia e jogava pelada, campeonatos de society e futsal. Achava que ia ficar muito tempo esperando uma oportunidade e, quando voltei, na viagem do Panamá, com três dias já estava jogando 45 minutos porque esses treinos me ajudaram muito – comemorou, repetindo como está mentalmente mais tranquilo.

– Já zerei. Assim que acabaram os perrengues do ano passado, já tinha zerado. Estou muito feliz, graças a Deus. Aprendi a me cuidar melhor, na questão de alimentação e treinamentos específicos. Estou me sentindo superbem. Os profissionais do Palmeiras têm me ajudado muito. Espero conseguir melhorar cada vez mais e continuar desempenhando um bom futebol.

Sometimes in late season you can become so obsessed with the intricacies of promotion and relegation – how this bonus point lost will affect this bonus point gained – that something dreamily proficient can almost pass you by. James Hildreth’s unbeaten hundred at Trent Bridge felt like that.Hildreth batted beautifully, scoring at roughly a run a ball for his entire innings, and soothed talk of a possible Somerset relegation, yet did it in a manner which made no grand statement, a west country lad protecting their Division One status in understated fashion. Like many Somerset batsmen this season, he has been short of his best, but here was a reminder of his mellifluous talent.Given a Derbyshire win 20 miles or so down the A52, the side that loses at Trent Bridge could be relegated. If that sounds unlikely now thanks to Derbyshire’s struggles, it was not the case in early afternoon. Nottinghamshire’s total of more than 400 had left them feeling comfortable. Attention was very much on Somerset.Notepads were grabbed, calculations hastily scribbled. Finally, after many crossings out, everybody concurred: Derbyshire would have to manage one more batting point than Somerset as well as beating Warwickshire. Somerset would have to lose. Given that scenario, Somerset would be relegated.Somerset were 11 for 2 in as many overs when Hildreth came to the crease – Marcus Trescothick lbw to a decent delivery from Harry Gurney, Chris Jones caught at the wicket off Luke Fletcher. They seemed destined for an afternoon of pain. Pessimistic talk abounded about how they would be relieved just to avoid the follow-on and collect a couple of batting bonus points to put Derbyshire under pressure.It is doubtful that Hildreth busied himself with working out the Division One table. He has had a largely unproductive season and, even though he has nearly 11,000 Somerset runs to his name, England have stopped looking. But in most situations he bats agreeably and then when the day is done he often slopes modestly away.Hildreth dealt with Notts’ attack in wristy fashion from the outset, reminding onlookers that his talents deserve this stage. He made his move just before tea: three boundaries in an over by Paul Franks, repeated by Nick Compton off Brett Hutton in the next over.Compton also played with certainty in a third-wicket stand that had swollen to 172 in 33 overs when bad light brought a premature end to a day restricted to 51.5 overs. Considering the unsettled weather, the odds on a draw that would automatically spare both sides from the drop are shortening – with Tony Pigott, the ECB pitch inspector, on hand to ensure there is no hint of collusion.Nobody much believes the national selector, Geoff Miller, when he says the door is not closed on Compton – it feels made of foot-thick English oak, with sentries stood above it with vats of boiling oil – but Compton is within range of 1000 Championship runs for the season nonetheless. Watch out forTamim Iqbal has shown he can bat aggressively as well as carefully. His 58 off 86 balls in the second ODI, however, ended poorly as he was lost for shots. He began slogging and eventually missed one that hit his stumps. A natural stroke-maker, Tamim can go all out in the last game because the series has already been won.Ross Taylor scored two fifties in the Test series but still hasn’t crossed that mark in the two ODIs. He has been one of the side’s best batsmen on this tour, however, playing spin well and stitching partnerships at times. وقال جريندو عبر حسابه على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “فيس بوك”: “انتهى عقدي مع النادي المصري العظيم، الذي لعبت له 6 سنوات، وكنت أتمنى ختامها ببطولة”.

أكد محمد رضا بوبو لاعب فريق فيوتشر، أن والده صاحب فضل عليه وحارب معه من أجل الوصول لهذه المكانة، مشيراً إلى أن لوكا مودريتش، نجم ريال مدريد، هو مثله الأعلى عالميًا، وحسام غالي محليًا.

وقال بوبو في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “والدي رحمه الله هو الذي كان يحارب معي لكي أصل لما وصلت له حاليًا، بدايتي في كرة القدم كانت في أكاديمية نادي الزمالك بالشرقية في عمر 10 سنوات، وميدو صاحب قرار تصعيدي للفريق الأول بوادي دجلة وعمري 16 عامًا”.

ويسؤاله، لو فشلت صفقة انضمامه إلى الأهلي، هل من الممكن أن ينضم للزمالك، أجاب: “نحن في عصر الاحتراف”.

واستكمل: “كنت قريبًا من الانضمام للأهلي، لدي عقد مع فيوتشر، ولكن الإدارة هي من تقرر، الأمر ليس بيدي، (مين معندوش رغبة يلعب في النادي الأهلي)، من أكثر الأندية في إفريقيا تحقيقًا للبطولات، أحلم بالطبع باللعب في أندية كبيرة مثل الأهلي أو الزمالك”.

وأردف: “إدارة فيوتشر لم تبلغني بانضمامي لبيراميدز حتى الآن، ولو هذه الصفقة ستجعل النادي يستفيد، فأنا معهم، لأنهم منحوني كل شيء في الفترة الماضية، شهرة وأرقام وانضممت للمنتخب، أترك كل شيء لوكيل أعمالي، أنا حاليًا في فترة إجازة”.

وقارن بوبو بين وليد الكرتي لاعب بيراميدز وإمام عاشور الذي انضم مؤخرًا للأهلي، بقوله: “أحب كلا اللاعبين، إمام لاعب كبير جدًا جدًا ولا أحد يختلف عليه وسيصنع الفارق مع الأهلي، رغم حزني بسبب قرار عودته سريعًا من الاحتراف”.

A estreia do Brasileiro sub-17 foi marcante para o Botafogo. Na tarde desta quinta-feira, no CEFAT, em Niterói, o Alvinegro recebeu o América-MG pelo Grupo B e, com gols de André Loiola e Matheus Nascimento, venceu por 2 a 0.

O gol marcado por Matheus aumenta ainda mais o eco em cima do jovem atacante de apenas 15 anos, que é da Seleção Brasileira da categoria e estava estreando pela categoria de cima. Ele entrou aos 15 minutos do segundo tempo e, após belo passe do meio-campista Padela, marcou no final do duelo.

Jharkhand were 128 runs away from victory with seven wickets in hand at the end of the third day after their pacers Shankar Rao and Varun Aaron skittled Haryana for a mere 123 in the second innings. Only Sachin Rana resisted with 84, as they set Jharkhand a modest target of 202 runs with a day left.Trailing by 78 in the first innings, Rao and Aaron tilted the momentum Jharkhand’s way when Rao took the first four wickets – two in the second over and two more off consecutive deliveries in the sixth over. And when Aaron trapped Avi Barot lbw for 1, Haryana were reeling at 16 for 5.However, Rana and Harshal Patel steadied the innings briefly with a 34-run stand for the sixth wicket, taking the score to 50. Patel fell for 11 and No. 8 Jayant Yadav gave company to Rana to cross the 100-run mark by putting 52 runs together, out of which Yadav scored only seven. Once he was dismissed, Joginder Sharma and Mohit Sharma also fell soon to Aaron, and Rana’s was the last wicket to fall after he had struck eight fours and three sixes during his stay of more than three hours. Rao finished with 4 for 35 and Aaron’s figures read 3 for 20.Jharkhand were also given early jolts when their openers were sent back within the first nine overs at the score of 12. Saurabh Tiwary was the next wicket to fall for seven when he was bowled by Patel, but Bhavin Thakkar and Ishank Jaggi avoided any more troubles by staying unbeaten on 29 and 27 respectively, with their 38-run partnership.Vidarbha 199 for 3 (Fazal 124, Badani 32*) trail Odisha 453 for 6 dec (Behera 131, Sahoo 114*) by 254 runs
ScorecardFaiz Fazal notched his sixth first-class hundred to almost take Vidarbha to 200 on the third day in reply to Odisha’s mammoth 453 for 6. Fazal was unbeaten on 124 and Vidarbha were still 254 behind with seven wickets in hand.Vidarbha had lost two wickets early at the end of the second day for the score of 14. Fazal and captain Shalab Shrivastava took them to safety, and beyond 100, by stitching a 100-run stand on the third morning. Shrivastava was on a patient 27 off 124 but was run-out which brought veteran Hemang Badani on the pitch. Fazal and Badani ensured there were no more stutters for their side as they put together an unbroken 85-run partnership.Fazal did the bulk of the scoring for Vidarbha, scoring more than half the team total, and Badani stayed unbeaten on 32 which included four fours. They have seven wickets in hand but will face a stiff target of going past 453 for the extra points on first-innings lead as the match heads for a draw.
