وأكد المصدر لـ بطولات، أن أحمد مسعود تعرض لحادث سير وانتقل لأحد المستشفيات.

وكتب الحساب الرسمي للمصري: “خالص أمنياتنا بالشفاء العاجل لحارسنا أحمد مسعود والذي تعرض لإصابات عديدة نتيجة حادث سير ببلدته ببني سويف”.

الأهلي يلتقي مع وفاق سطيف، في التاسعة من مساء اليوم، في إطار منافسات إياب دور نصف النهائي لدوري أبطال إفريقيا على ملعب 5 يوليو بالجزائر.

وتقرر مغادرة بعثة الأهلي، الجزائر في الثانية صباح غدٍ الأحد على متن طائرة خاصة؛ للعودة إلى القاهرة.

Aston Villa are keen on signing Everton defender Thierry Small, according to Football Insider.

The Lowdown: Small profiled

Small is 16 years of age and is a left-back. He became Everton’s youngest ever first-team player last season and is wanted by Arsenal and Manchester United.

The teenager has been offered a bumper first professional deal at Goodison Park but has gone AWOL from Toffees training.

Small, who decorated former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti described as ‘quality’, didn’t return for pre-season training last Monday under Rafael Benitez.

The Latest: Source shares Villa’s interest

According to Football Insider, who were informed by a recruitment source, Villa have joined the race for Small’s services.

Villa have registered their interest in the full-back, who grew up in the Midlands, with Small’s uncle, Bryan, actually playing for Villa for six years.

The Verdict: Another step in the right direction

Villa have already beat Manchester United in the race for defender Josh Feeney this summer, so you’d expect they’d have every chance to sign Small ahead of the Red Devils and the Gunners.

It would be interesting to see how Villa would use Small, should he move to the Midlands.

He could mainly ply his trade in the club’s academy while also serving as back up to Matt Targett. It seems as if he wants to be a part of a first-team squad, as he feels he has no genuine prospect of that at Goodison Park.

The promise of that could be key when it comes to a possible Villa Park switch, so only time will tell if a deal will materialise.

Wolves winger Adama Traore will probably cost £35-40m this summer, journalist Luke Hatfield has told Football FanCast.

Traore has been heavily linked with a move away from Molineux, with Chelsea thought to be one team currently circling.

According to The Athletic, the west London club have an interest in the 25-year-old, who could give Thomas Tuchel the kind of attacking threat down the right flank he is looking for.

Traore has just two years left on his contract, so this could be Wolves’ last opportunity to make good money off of the Spaniard.

When asked by FFC how much Wolves could sell him for, Hatfield of the Express & Star said:

“His contract makes it murky, doesn’t it? I’d say probably a similar amount to [Ruben] Neves, 35, maybe £40m.

“He’s a young player, so he can still improve. But the contract situation, as I said, makes it murky.”

It is not the £80m price tag that has floated around in the past, but selling Traore for half of that would still be good business from a financial point of view.

Wolves signed Traore for £18m from Middlesbrough back in 2018 after meeting a release clause in his contract, so the Midlands club would still obviously be making a profit.
