O advogado, empresário e ex-deputado federal Gastone Righi está de saída do Comitê de Gestão do Santos. Aos 80 anos e enfrentando problemas de saúde, Righi já expôs sua intenção ao presidente Modesto Roma Júnior.

O presidente santista e demais membros do Comitê ainda tentam convencê-lo de permanecer ocupando o cargo, mesmo já não participando com a mesma frequência de antes nas reuniões semanais do colegiado. Apesar de ainda não ter anunciado definitivamente sua posição, o advogado não está disposto a seguir no clube.

Nos bastidores, especula-se que a relação entre ele e os demais membros do Comitê de Gestão estava desgastada e que Gastone Righi não concordava com a maioria das decisões. Em contato com a reportagem do LANCE!, contudo, Righi desmentiu os boatos e destacou que sua decisão é exclusivamente por motivo de saúde.

– Eu estou fazendo um tratamento de saúde um pouco longo, já não tenho ido há algum tempo às reuniões. O Santos precisa de gente mais atuante. Conversei ontem (domingo) com o Modesto, mas ele e os outros colegas ainda estão me pedindo para ficar. Não tem nada de carta (deixada criticando a atual gestão) – explicou.

Aos 80 anos, Gastone Righi é o único remanescente da primeira versão do Comitê de Gestão formado por Modesto Roma Júnior, que tinha no início de 2015 José Renato Quaresma, Jorge Corrêa da Costa, José Macedo Reis, Oswaldo Nico Gonçalves, Paulo Roberto Dias e Rodrigo Marino, além do próprio Modesto e de seu vice, Cesar Conforti.

وكان الوقت الأصلي من المباراة قد انتهى بالتعادل الإيجابي بهدف لمثله، وكذلك الأشواط الإضافية، قبل أن يحسم ميدلسبره ركلات الترجيح لصالحه حيث أهدر إيلانجا الركلة الثامنة للشياطين الحمر.

وعقب المباراة، حرص كريستيانو رونالدو على التوجه إلى إيلانجا من أجل مواساته وتقديم الدعم المناسب له في تلك اللحظات الصعبة التي يمر بها.

Swansea City are the latest club to be linked with a move for Rochdale striker Stephen Humphrys ahead of the summer and the 23-year-old could prove to be an excellent addition to Steve Cooper’s side if he moves to south Wales.

What’s the word?

According to The 72 on Twitter, Swansea have joined the race to sign the former Fulham man in the summer after his impressive performances in League One so far this season.

Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City, Stoke City and Preston North End have all previously been credited with an interest in the forward, so it seems likely that he will be departing Spotland this summer, especially if Rochdale fail to avoid relegation to League Two.

Would he be a good signing?

Humphrys has impressed in Brian Barry-Murphy’s side this season after returning to the Dale in a summer switch from Southend United, having previously spent time on loan with the League One outfit in the 2018/19 campaign.

The young striker has contributed 10 goals and three assists in just 25 league appearances for Rochdale so far this season, averaging an impressive 7.09 WhoScored rating, although injury problems have disrupted his campaign.

The 23-year-old offers a decent aerial threat, whilst he is also adept at holding the ball up and taking on defenders, so could offer Cooper more of a physical presence up front. He has also scored some memorable free-kick goals this season, with his effort in the 4-4 draw against Charlton Athletic earlier in the campaign standing out as a goal of the season contender.

Considering Rochdale’s precarious financial situation, as well as the fact that Humphrys’ contract is set to expire at the end of next season, he could prove to be a bargain option for Swansea City in the summer transfer window.

The forward has impressed in a relegation-threatened side this term, so he could certainly find the net with more regularity in a team such as Swansea, who will surely be looking to challenge for promotion to the Premier League again next season if they fail to go up this time around.

Therefore, Humphrys could prove to be an excellent addition to Cooper’s side, and given the low-risk nature of the transfer, Julian Winter should do his utmost to attract him to the Liberty Stadium this summer.

– A vitória é do grupo de jogadores, especialmente deles, do trabalho que estão fazendo. Tivemos uma atuação muito boa no segundo tempo. No jogo, tivemos uma atuação técnica praticamente perfeita. According to reports, Aston Villa are ready to reignite their interest in Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica in the summer transfer window.

What’s the story?

Reports last summer suggested that the Kosovo international was a prime target for the Premier League side as they looked ahead to their second season back in the top-flight.

It was claimed that after initially wanting to stay in the Bundesliga, the £10.8m-rated Rashica had a change of heart and was open to a move to the Premier League and to joining Villa, with Dean Smith’s side ready to spend big to get him.

While a deal failed to materialise before the end of the deadline however, it now appears that Villa are ready to go back in for the winger. According to Football Insider, the Midlands club are preparing a fresh move for Rashica, and that he “is on the club’s shortlist of potential wide forward signings going into the next transfer window”.

Dean Smith will be buzzing

Given that Smith wanted Rashica last summer, news of Villa reigniting their interest in the attack will surely leave the Villa boss buzzing that they may finally get their man this time around.

Rashica’s manager at Bremen, Florian Kohfeldt, has previously raved about his ability, saying: “He is a player who can decide Bundesliga games. You don’t find that very often. Milot has incredible skills. In speed, in goal scoring, in passing. These skills also fall on others. Rashica would fit well to England with his pace, but also with his style of play to Spain.”

Hailed as someone who “makes scoring look easy”, Rashica can play anywhere just behind the striker and even up front too, and that kind of versatility will be very much appreciated by the Villa boss.

Following the sacking of Jose Mourinho, it had been suggested that Julian Nagelsmann was heavily on Spurs’ radar (Daily Mail). However, he has now been confirmed as the new Bayern Munich manager.

In a Q&A for football.london, Gold revealed THAT Ten Hag is one of a number of managers on the north London outfit’s shortlist.

Fantastic option

With the likes of Bayern (Sky via bulinews.com) and Barcelona (Sport) being previously linked with the Dutchman, it is perhaps a surprise that he is still at Ajax. He has done a marvellous job in Amsterdam – he is closing in on his second Eredivisie title at the Johan Cruyff Arena, has averaged 2.32 points per game during his time at the club (Transfermarkt) and also took them to the Champions League semi-finals in the 2018/19 season.

He also has a reputation of developing younger players, with the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong flourishing under his tutelage. Quite frankly, there are few better coaches in Europe that Daniel Levy could target, and he certainly seems attainable.
